Despite how close the Miami Hurricanes are getting to a crucial point in the recruiting cycle, coach Manny Diaz isn’t concerned with UM’s 2022 recruiting class despite its lack of non-binding commitments.
College football’s Early Signing Period (Dec. 15 through Dec. 17) starts in less than three weeks, but the Hurricanes stand at eight pledges and haven’t added a commitment to their 2022 recruiting class since August.
Miami had nine commitments for two months before four-star cornerback Tre’Quon Fegans, who at the time was the Hurricanes’ second-highest rated commit in their 2022 recruiting class, backed off his pledge to UM before committing to Alabama a week later.
