N’Kosi Perry got his second start of the season at home against Georgia Tech today, but as has been the case all season, the game didn’t start the way Miami wanted as Perry was sacked on a blitz by freshman Demetrius Knight II from GT, and Perry lost the ball in the endzone. Ja’Quon Griffin recovered the ball for a Georgia Tech TD that put Miami in the hole 7-0 early in the first quarter.
Miami was clumsy on special teams with a penalty on Al Blades Jr. that was (thankfully) negated by Tech not having enough players on the line of scrimmage.
