But as the Hurricanes took to the practice field for the first time of the 2017 season, there weren’t exactly any surprises in how the quarterbacks lined up during their first few minutes of work.
Through the first 25 minutes of practice — the only portion available for reporters to watch — redshirt junior Malik Rosier, the veteran among the quarterbacks, lined up to take most of the snaps with the first unit during drills. Redshirt sophomore Evan Shirreffs followed him, while highly touted recruit N’Kosi Perry was third in the order.
