Wide receivers Philip Dorsett and Braxton Berrios and defensive linemen Trent Harris and Ufomba Kamalu became the latest Miami football alums to win a Superbowl. Forty-three Miami alums have won Super Bowls prior to this year. Dorsett was the only one of the four to play in Super Bowl LIII.
That likely means that the number of Hurricanes to win a Super Bowl increased to 44. Harris spent the regular season on the practice squad, Berrios on injured reserve and Kamalu was inactive for the Super Bowl.
According to the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson, Dorsett played 26 snaps in the Patriots 13-3 win over the Rams.
