Sheldon McClellan went into the NBA draft combine hoping to prove critics wrong.
After his weekend in Chicago, the former Hurricanes star thinks he managed to do that.
McClellan – who was the last player invited to the combine – tested well in Chicago, finishing first among all participants in the lane agility drill (10.45), tied for third in the max vertical leap (41.5) and seventh overall in the standing vertical leap (35.0).
He played well in the scrimmage portion of the event too, connecting on 3-of-5 from the field and hitting his lone shot from 3-point range during 21 minutes of action.
