Crawford shared the news on social media writing on Twitter on Sunday “Proud to say that I’ll be a Mountaineer!!! #WVU” and describing himself as the “best nickelback in college football.”
Crawford, who started six games at safety last year, had 19 tackles and broke up five passes for the Hurricanes. In February, he again used social media to vent some frustration with his role at Miami writing, “I’m a piece of gold that gets treated like a piece of silver, therefore, I’m out!
