Travis Homer was the first of the six Miami Hurricanes to take part in the NFL combine. After getting measured, taking the Wonderlic test and meeting with teams earlier this week, Homer participated in field drills on Friday.
Homer finished fifth among running backs with a 4.48 time in the 40-yard dash. That was surprising considering that one of the criticisms of Homer was a lack of breakaway speed with Miami.
Homer was 18th in the bench press with 17 reps, second in the vertical and broad jump at 39.
