The Taggart offensive system that was praised throughout the offseason by the Florida State fan base and media has failed for the most part thus far. Now their lowly ranked offense will have to face the Miami Hurricanes second-ranked defense.
The Miami Hurricanes defense enters Saturday’s game with Florida State as the nation’s second-ranked defense. Miami is allowing 244.8 yards per game through their first five. The Hurricanes are first in pass defense allowing 138.8 yards per game and first in tackles for loss at 12 per game.
Add in the fact that Florida State is inserting two new offensive tackles and the Miami Hurricanes defense has to be salivating at Saturday’s possibilities.
