The Miami Dolphins, following a report that said the Miami Hurricanes' season-opener against Florida A&M would be forced to move because renovations at the Miami Gardens stadium will miss their deadline, issued a statement assuring the stadium will be ready for that game on Sept. 3.
CBSSports' Hank Goldberg, a longtime sports-radio fixture in South Florida, said earlier in the week of UM: "Their home opener against Florida A&M will be played at FAU."
The Dolphins released a statement on Thursday morning from Bill Senn, their senior vice president, stadium renovation: "The reports that the stadium won't be ready for football until November are incorrect.
