When Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald tweeted that former Miami Hurricanes quarterback Malik Rosier would be participating in the Miami Dolphins rookie mini-camp this weekend fans had a collective eye-roll on Twitter in response. Rosier was a lightning rod during his two seasons as the Hurricanes top quarterback.
In 2017 Rosier had an inconsistent season but led the Hurricanes to their first ACC Coastal Division title, ACC Championship game appearance and a spot in the Orange Bowl. The 2018 season did not live up to expectations. The Miami Hurricanes began 2018 as the nation’s eighth-ranked team.
