Hurricanes running back Mark Walton, who was arrested in April on charges of driving under the influence and knowingly driving with a suspended license, is set to appear in court on June 20 for a jury trial, according to Miami-Dade court records.
Walton, a rising sophomore at Miami, pleaded not guilty to the charges against him last month through his attorneys at Farrell & Patel, a Coral Gables-based law firm.
He was suspended indefinitely by the school following his arrest, though Walton did appear last week at a community service event that featured several Hurricanes football players visiting with students at Frances S.
