On the football field, Walter Tucker is known for his bruising running style and his ability to throw blocks for teammates. Away from there, though, it turns out the Hurricanes fullback can dance. Pretty well.
Tonye Jekiri was the ACC’s leading rebounder this season, averaging 9.9 boards per game. But when he’s not on the court, the Hurricanes center likes to do a little singing, dancing and lip-synching.
Hurricanes defensive lineman Jelani Hamilton can appreciate Jekiri’s musical skill set. He’s pretty good at all of that himself and he’s got a flair for the dramatic – along with the ability to convince teammates (and Jekiri) to serve as his backup dancers while he croons.
