College baseball fans across the country may not be Hurricanes fans per se, but many recognize what the program has done for the sport dating back to Ron Fraser's tenure at Miami.
The Hurricanes, who begin play in the Coral Gables regional on Friday against Stetson, are making an NCAA-record 44th consecutive tournament appearance. They've won four national titles and made 24 trips to the College World Series, the most recently coming last season.
And so, ahead of Friday's opening games, two of Miami's potential weekend opponents had nothing but glowing praise for the Hurricanes and for Miami coach Jim Morris.
