After missing his first game as a Hurricane, Brad Kaaya should be under center this week.
The Miami quarterback, who was not cleared to play last week at Duke after sustaining a concussion on Oct. 24 against Clemson, has been cleared now and is expected to return to action Saturday when the Hurricanes host Virginia in a crucial ACC Coastal Division matchup at Sun Life Stadium.
Kaaya returned to practice earlier this week and saw his work load increase gradually each day as he continued going through Miami’s intensive concussion protocol before eventually being cleared.
