With one scrimmage in the books, another looming Saturday and classes set to start next week, things were a little bit more intense for the Hurricanes at Tuesday’s practice.
Miami coach Al Golden said he and his staff are scripting this as a regular-season game week in an effort to give players an idea of what they can expect when preparations for the season opener against Bethune-Cookman really get going. And, Golden noted, if players want to see themselves rise on the Hurricanes’ depth chart, now is the time to make their respective pushes.
