The Hurricanes are halfway through preseason camp and as to be expected, a few players are dealing with injuries and Miami gets ready to push through a few more workouts ahead of their second scrimmage, which is scheduled for Saturday.
Both rush end Al-Quadin Muhammad and kicker Michael Badgley were limited to non-contact work on Sunday as Miami coach Al Golden said the pair were dealing with hip injuries. Also limited to non-contact work was tight end Stan Dobard, who has an injured hand.
Linebacker Juwon Young missed yet another workout while dealing with a foot sprain and Golden said the team is determined to be cautious with him as they continue preparing for their season opener.
