A day after offensive line coach Art Kehoe shared a probable starting rotation for his unit during a radio interview with 560 WQAM’s Joe Rose, Hurricanes players were adamant Tuesday that they’re still pushing as if a starting unit has not been named.
Several linemen spoke to reporters and said almost unanimously that despite Kehoe’s comments, competition for spots on the offensive line remains intense as Miami’s season opener against Bethune-Cookman draws closer. Some highlighted the versatility players have shown, playing multiple spots on the line and one was even hesitant to answer when asked if he started in the scrimmage.
