'Canes hope new sense of accountability will help them bounce back

In the weeks since spring football ended, the Hurricanes have spent plenty of time on the practice field, often working on their own without the guidance of their coaches to try and find solutions to some of the problems that plagued them during a disappointing 2014 season.

But it was one early-morning session on Greentree in particular that quarterback Brad Kaaya and linebacker Raphael Kirby think could make the biggest difference for Miami this year.

On that March day, the Hurricanes weren't focused on running routes, throwing passes, or tackling an opposing ball carrier. They weren't doing anything that could technically help them run a play during a game.
