Former Miami Hurricanes point guard Shane Larkin scored a EuroLeague record 49 points, leading his Anadolu Efes to a 104-75 win over Bayern Munich in Istanbul Friday night. Larkin was 10-12 from three-point range and 9-10 from the free throw line in the record-setting performance, breaking the previous high of 43 points.

Larkin entered Friday’s Round 11 game averaging 22 points per contest in EuroLeague play, which was already tops in the continent-wide competition. He finished with 12.5 points per game in EuroLeague games a season ago, along with just over 15 points per game in Turkish domestic league games, while helping Efes to the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi title and earning Finals MVP honors.
