Earlier in the offseason, the Canes Hoops program announced that they would participate in the Wooden Legacy Tournament during their non-conference slate. Yesterday, the schedule for the tournament was released, and Miami has been selected to open the tournament against La Salle on Thanksgiving Day at 2:30pm ET. The eight-team tournament will be played on the campus of Cal State Fullerton from November 22-25. This will mark the second straight season (and 4th time within the last 6 seasons) that the Canes will face off with the Explorers of La Salle, as both teams played a neutral-site game in Lonnie Walker IV’s hometown of Reading, PA last season, where the Canes left victorious 57-46.
