After many days of projections and predictions that the Canes would be spending Christmas in El Paso, the announcement was made official, as the Sun Bowl announced the 2015 matchup will be Miami vs Washington State.
During the last week, there were plenty of bowl projections and predictions. For Miami, nearly all of them had the Canes heading back to El Paso, TX for the Sun Bowl. Sunday afternoon, those predictions and projections became reality.

Bowl games have an opponent, obviously, and for the Sun Bowl, the Canes will be playing a Pac-12 team, with Washington State as the opponent.
