Can Miami Hurricanes Freshman Tight ends make a 2018 impact?

In 2016 wide receiver Ahmmon Richards, the All-Freshman linebacking core of Shaq Quarterman, Michael Pinckney and Zach McCloud and defensive end Joe Jackson all had an impact during a 9-4 season.

In 2017 offensive lineman Navaughn Donaldson running back DeeJay Dallas, wide receiver Jeff Thomas and defensive back Trajan Bandy were impactful for the Miami Hurricanes. Richards, Pinckney and Quarterman were true Freshmen All-Americans in 2016 and Donaldson was in 2017.

Many players in the Storm ’18 Class will have opportunities to make impacts. Brevin Jordan is the favorite to be the starting tight end. Lorenzo Lingard should push Travis Homer for carries in the backfield.
