Cam’Ron Harris shines, QB play ’okay’ in Miami Hurricanes’ ‘sloppy’ second scrimmage

Miami Hurricanes junior running back Cam’Ron Harris had 13 carries for 77 yards, a rushing touchdown and two more touchdowns through the air in UM’s second scrimmage of fall camp, according to stats released by UM coach Manny Diaz on Saturday night.

Diaz said UM’s second scrimmage was “sloppy” with several penalties and called the team’s quarterback play “okay” after the Hurricanes’ offense cruised in the first scrimmage when D’Eriq King threw four touchdown passes.
