When you win 77-0 like the Hurricanes did yesterday, many players were able to get their name noticed, and make plays. Two of those guys were Miami’s newest tight ends, true freshmen Brevin Jordan and Will Mallory.
With the injury of Michael Irvin II prior to the start of the regular season, it was apparent that both Mallory and Jordan would be seeing the field a lot this fall. Against LSU, Jordan started at tight end, while Mallory saw the field as well. Both ended the game with zero catches.
However against Savannah State on Saturday back home at Hard Rock Stadium, both had their name called, and called often.
