The Atlantic Coast Conference will expand their conference basketball schedule from 18 to 20 games per team as of the 2019-20 season.
ACC teams will continue to play their two primary rivals twice per year, with four additional conference teams to be on the schedule twice in any given year on a rotational basis. Previously, that number was just two additional teams. Each team will also play eight other conference teams once per year. That number will be down from 10 teams. Every team still plays every other conference team at least once.
Miami’s two rivals in terms of ACC scheduling are Florida State and Virginia Tech.
