Big second half run leads Miami Hurricanes over Pittsburgh

Playing their first game without Bruce Brown, the Miami Hurricanes used balanced scoring to sweep the season series from the Panthers. Lonnie Walker once again led the way. Walker finished in double figures for the sixth straight game with 16 points. He also had five rebounds and three assists.

Chris Lykes had 13, Dewan Huell, 11 and Anthony Lawrence 10. Lawrence finished with a double-double, adding ten rebounds. In the second start of his young collegiate career Lykes added three rebounds and five assists.

Miami took control of the game in the first half with a 12-2 run.
