For more than three weeks, they have battled for positions. They have pushed and hit each other.
Now, with just one day of fall camp left on the schedule, the Hurricanes are ready to move forward.
There are still a few position battles to decide, but for the most part, Miami’s players want to stop competing against each other and turn their energy to a common opponent, namely Bethune-Cookman.
“We’re tired of going against each other every day and pounding each other,” Hurricanes tight end Chris Herndon said Friday. “We’d rather go against somebody else.
