Ahmmon Richards warms up, Demetrius Jackson does not ahead of Toledo kickoff

For the Hurricanes, there will finally be football again.

No. 14 Miami is set to kick off against Toledo in less than half an hour. Because of Hurricane Irma, it’ll be the Hurricanes first game since their Sept. 2 opener, a 41-13 win over Bethune-Cookman.

In that win, Miami was without receiver Ahmmon Richards, a Freshman All-American last season, who was dealing with a hamstring injury.

Richards has practiced in a limited capacity on and off throughout Miami’s 21-day layover, but earlier this week, he was deemed “questionable” for Saturday’s game by Hurricanes coach Mark Richt.
