ACC Championship Game Officially Moving to Orlando

The ACC pulled eight championships out of North Carolina due to the controversial HB2 bill that discriminates against the LGBT community. The NCAA announced earlier this month that they were pulling seven championships in six sports out of North Carolina.

The NCAA has precedence for moving events in the past. They have banned schools and venues from hosting events that have a nickname that insults or uses hostile or abusive Native American imagery, any school or city or state that displays the confederate flag or states that authorize legal sports gambling.

The ACC is going to have a pre-sale for the game at Camping World Stadium on October 5.
