Greg Olsen is part of the Miami football legacy that dubbed the Hurricanes tight end U. Olsen is in the top five in receptions and receiving yards for his career among Miami TEs.
Greg Olsen redshirted as a freshman with the Miami football team in 2003 following a shoulder injury. Kellen Winslow Jr. and Kevin Everett were the TEs ahead of Olsen as a true freshman. Olsen caught 16 passes for 275 yards and a touchdown as a redshirt freshman playing behind Everett as a redshirt freshman in 2004.
