The offensive line for the Miami football team likely has starting spots secured by rising junior Navaughn Donaldson, rising redshirt sophomore Corey Gaynor at center and rising sophomore Delone Scaife. Donaldson and Scaife’s positions have yet to be determined. John Campbell will challenge for one of the other two positions up front.
It would be surprising if anyone but Scaife starts at left tackle. With three right-handers challenging to be the Hurricanes starter at quarterback, left tackle is critical. Campbell recently told Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald that he and incoming freshman Zion Nelson are competing to start at left tackle.
