Currently the OL coach at Oregon and the co-offensive coordinator, Cristobal has gone on to have a successful coaching career after his time in Coral Gables. During his time in pads, he was a talented member of the offensive line at tackle from 1989 to 1992. He earned two national championships as a member of team in both 1989 and 1991. Additionally, on an individual level, he was a All-Big East first teamer in 1992. As a coach, he started as a graduate assistant at Miami from 1998 to 2000 before heading up to Rutgers in 2001. He returned to Miami in 2004 but left for the Head Coach job at FIU in 2007.
