Kai-Leon Herbert is entering his third season in the Miami football program. Herbert made his Miami debut in 2017 as a true freshman against Bethune-Cookman. The former four-star signee received a medical redshirt that season. Herbert’s only playing time in 2018 came in the regular season finale against Pittsburgh.
Herbert was the second highest rated offensive line recruit for Miami in 2017. Only two-year starter Navaughn Donaldson was ranked ahead of him. Herbert was a consensus four-star signee who was ranked as the 235th best player overall, the 25th best offensive tackle and 35th best player in Florida in 2017.
