Gurvan Hall enters his sophomore season with the highest ceiling of the safeties in the Miami football program according to the Hurricanes coaching staff. Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reported on Friday that the coaching staff wants to see Hall tackle more consistently.
Hall was a four-star signee out of Palm Beach Gardens in 2018. He was the 184th ranked player, 15th ranked safety and 32nd ranked player in Florida according to 247Sports.Com.
Hall played sparingly as a freshman. He recorded eight tackles last season. Hall and Amari Carter are initially expected to form the starting safety tandem.
