At 6’5 218 pounds Cager has the best combination of height and weight among the wide receivers on the Miami football team. Cager had by far his best game of 2017 in the Orange Bowl loss to Wisconsin with four receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown.
Cager is currently expected to start at the wide receiver Z position in 2018. Ahmmon Richards is projected for the Y-receiver and Sophomore Jeff Thomas in the slot. The Miami football offense should take on a few different looks this season.
Cager will have a battle on his hands to stay with the first-team offense at the Z.
