The Turnover Chain is one of the great things about the Miami Hurricanes, and for two years its brought us incredible moments and swung the outcome in certain games (FSU 2018). So, it only seems right that the first time we saw the Chain would appear on this list.
It was the opening game of the 2017 season, and the Canes were hosting Bethune Cookman, as the 18th ranked Hurricanes looked to kick their year off right.
As everyone expected, Miami gained a lead early and wouldn’t relinquish it. Early in the fourth quarter, an overthrown pass by Bethune-Cookman was intercepted by defensive back Malek Young.
