One of the defining games in the Butch Davis era for the Hurricanes came in 1999, when Miami found themselves down 28-3 to Boston College.
The Canes came into Chestnut Hill on a three-game losing streak and started to see their season slip away now facing a 25-point deficit to the Eagles.
However, thanks to a hobbled Kenny Kelly and running back James Jackson, Miami somehow fought their way back, tying the game up at 28. With the ball back, the Hurricanes tried to move the ball downfield to attempt a game-winning field goal, but faced a 4th-and-17.
