The 1991 season for the Hurricanes was one to remember, as they went a perfect 12-0, going on to win the schools fourth national championship.
In week-two of that year, Miami welcomed in the high-powering #10 Houston Cougars, and their dynamic offense led by quarterback David Klinger, on a Thursday night in the Orange Bowl.
The Cougars were no match for the #2 Canes speed and athleticism, and were overpowered right from the start.
One of the highlights of the game came with the Hurricanes already up 21-3, and Gino Torretta and the Miami offense eyeing another score.
