Even after losing tons of great players to the NFL Draft following the 2002 season, the Hurricanes still returned playmakers like Jonathan Vilma, Vince Wilfork and tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. for 2003.
In week five of that 2003 season, the 4-0 Canes, ranked #2 in the nation, hosted the West Virginia Mountaineers on a warm night inside the Orange Bowl.
Though heavily favored, the mighty Hurricanes found themselves down 20-19 with just over a minute to play, facing a 4th-and-13.
Quarterback Brock Berlin found his favorite target, and Winslow made an incredible catch that extended the drive.
