Ira Winderman, the Miami Heat columnist for the Sun-Sentinel joined the Joe Rose Show on 560 WQAM to discuss the Heat possibly moving forward without Chris Bosh, Pat Riley’s plan with Hassan Whiteside in free agency and the possibility of Kevin Durant coming to Miami.
“There is a procedure in place involving a doctor that’s agreed upon the player’s, Bosh and the Miami Heat. He will be paid his full contract regardless.”
“Every team looks at him (Hassan Whiteside), there will be at least five max offers. The Heat can offer slightly larger raises.”
“Pat Riley is thinking Kevin Durant, unless Dwyane starts recruiting now, I just don’t see any in house advantage for the Heat when it comes to Kevin Durant.
