The Phoenix Suns claim to have a plan to finally win that elusive championship; it’s just that no one else understands what that plan is. Flashback two years ago when Phoenix was the feel-good story of the NBA, a team that missed the playoffs by one game with a roster that was supposed to challenge for a top-5 pick. They spread the floor with three point shooters, scored the most fast break points per game, and played little defense. It was classic Phoenix Suns basketball. A team that was supposed to be in the doldrums of the NBA was now a rising franchise that was just a couple of pieces away from championship contention.
