Smiling faces and an MVP trophy

Miami Heat president Pat Riley held his end-of-season news conference Monday when he addressed the NBA draft and the uncertainty of building his team last summer.

Two Miami-area reporters noted Riley's eyebrow-raising remark:

Pat Riley on the draft: "No more smiling faces with hidden agendas, so we'll be going in clean."

Wow. Rilley on the uncertainty of building last summer not knowing about LeBron, "No more smiling faces with hidden agendas."

Boy, that sounds a lot like commentary on LeBron James, who took his talents back to Cleveland in July 2014 after campaigning for the Heat to draft outgoing Connecticut point guard Shabazz Napier.
