Wade moves into NBA's top 50 career scorers

MIAMI (AP) Dwyane Wade is now among the top 50 scorers in NBA history.

Wade has passed Dale Ellis for 50th on the league's all-time list. Ellis scored 19,004 points in his career; Wade's free throw with 3:10 left in the second quarter of Miami's game with Philadelphia on Saturday night gave the perennial All-Star guard 19,005 for his career.

His career average of 24.0 points per game ranks fifth among active players, and only eight active players have more points than Wade.

While Dwyane Wade finally broke out offensively this week, he might soon be passing the baton back to Miami's big boys.
