Udonis Haslem stays in Florida despite storm

One Miami Heat player stayed in South Florida despite repeated urges to leave the area. Take a wild guess as to who that was.

The Miami-born-and-bred player, Udonis Haslem, was the lone player who stayed during the storm. Erik Spoelstra joined the calls for evacuation and encouraged the players to depart.

Haslem said that his Southwest Ranches home sustained minor issues most South Floridians have faced. He checked into a hotel after his home lost power, according to Shandel Richardson of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

“My yard took a beating,” Haslem said.
