This Heat player could replace injured Wizards guard John Wall on All-Star squad

So there’s a chance the Miami Heat could end up having an All-Star after all.

According to the Washington Post, Wizards All-Star point guard John Wall, one of 12 players selected from the Eastern Conference to play in next month’s All-Star Game in Los Angeles, is expected to miss six to eight weeks after he undergoes an arthroscopic debridement procedure Wednesday in his left knee.

The Heat, which owns the fourth-best record in the Eastern Conference at 29-21 heading into Wednesday’s game in Cleveland (29-19), is the only team in the East among the top eight seeds which qualify for the playoffs without an All-Star representative.
