The Heat don’t have a pick. They still visited the NBA Draft Combine.

The Miami Heat don’t have a draft pick in either round of the upcoming 2018 NBA Draft. One might have been surprised, then, to see that Erik Spoelstra and Pat Riley have visited the NBA Draft combine to look at prospects.

According to the Palm Beach Post’s Anthony Chiang, other Heat executives like general manager Andy Elisburg, vice president of player personnel Chet Kammerer and CEO Nick Arison have also attended the combine. Chiang reported that the Heat interviewed 20 players, including University of Miami guard Bruce Brown.

Kammerer said that the Heat have a slim chance of trading for a pick in the top 20 selections of the first round.
