Bam Adebayo appears to be embracing a leadership role with the Miami Heat.
The Heat extended the three-time All-Star to a three-year, $166 million deal on June 26 and Miami coach Erik Spoelstra called it "an amazing day for Heat Nation" and praised Adebayo's role in maintaining the famed "Heat Culture."
"It's a great day for Bam," Spoelstra said, per Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald.. "It's an amazing day for Heat Nation. It's hard to do, in today's day and age of pro sports, to be able to have continuity.
