The Miami Heat G-Leauge Affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce recently announced that the team will host local player tryouts in both Sioux Falls on September 18th and in Miami on September 25th.
The Sioux Falls were notably absent from the G-League last season, but have been used in the past to develop some notable Heat talents including sharpshooter Duncan Robinson, swingman Josh Richardson, and Kendrick Nunn. These tryouts serve as an opportunity to find some new hidden gems.
General Manager, Eric Amsler said this about the open tryouts:
“We’re very excited to get Sioux Falls basketball back at the Sanford Pentagon for 2021-22 season,” said HEAT Director of Player Personnel and Skyforce General Manager Eric Amsler.
