Sioux Falls Skyforce win 2016 NBA D-League Championship Title

The Sioux Falls Skyforce were crowned the 2016 NBA D-League champions after routing the Los Angeles D-Fenders 91-63 to close out the best-of-3 series Wednesday night.

The Miami Heat's D-League affiliate team had a historic season, winning a record 40 games leading up to the playoffs. Jarnell Stokes, who won the D-League MVP trophy after a stint with the Heat during the regular season, contributed 25 points and 12 rebounds to help secure the title.

According to the Skyforce's report, the team was dominant in their final game as they have been throughout the season.
