The Sioux Falls Skyforce not only were crowned champions of the NBA Development League last season but they also broke the D-League record for most wins in a season. Now the Miami Heat's affiliate team needs to defend that title and they are looking for some reinforcements.
The Skyforce announced today that they will be once again holding open tryouts both in Sioux Falls and in Miami for the upcoming 2016-17 season. The Miami tryout will take place on Sunday, October 9th at Ransom Everglades High School.
Open tryouts offer players an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of Skyforce coaches and HEAT personnel while they compete to earn an invitation to the NBA Development League team's training camp in November.
